In places where combined sewers exist and have demonstrated a history of problems, but are impractical to completely replace, Alliance can also provide upgrades to “smart infrastructure.” This combination of dynamic gates and pumps is controlled by sensors and wifi-enabled smart technology that allows the system to adapt to different conditions, effectively preventing many overflows before they occur.
