Site Preparation

Prior to any construction project, whether it be a residence or a utility plant, a shed or a skyscraper, the ground must be cleared of debris, the foundation dug, and the soil strengthened through compaction. This is the job our excavators perform, with strict adherence to our engineer’s guidelines and all pertinent local laws and preferences.

Also in accordance with local laws as well as environmental best practices, we always transport all the excess dirt and debris to a proper disposal site where the waste will not contribute to erosion or contaminate nearby waterways.

Trenching

Our excavation crews can provide trenching services for any pipeline infrastructure, including water and sewer, for which we can provide a complete turnkey solution. We can also provide trenching services for other projects as well, however, including burying electrical lines and oil and gas pipelines.

Grading

After construction is complete, our crews work diligently to return the landscape back to its original condition. This includes moving and hauling excess backfill, aggregate, dirt, cement, and other waste products away from the construction site and returning the land either to its original contours or to the plan set forth by the project engineers. Once the site is graded, our crews may also stabilize the soil to prevent erosion or prepare it for future use.

Dredging

Dredging is an underwater variation of excavation, where sediment and debris from the bottom of a river or lake is hauled up and moved to a more convenient location. Alliance provides complete dredging services for any waterfront projects, including waterway restoration and as preparatory work for wharfs and piers.
